North Bali: Sekumpul Waterfall, Best of the Best Waterfall in Bali

My guide Putu was very accommodating as I was feeling unwell and allowed me to cater the trip to my tastes which I appreciated. The star of the show were the rice terraces which we did first and for a while there were no other tourists there which in Bali is rare! Putu is an experienced driver and was able to move around the Bali nimbly, so I feel as if we managed to cover a lot of ground.

This was an absolutely fabulous day that I would highly recommend! Ana our driver got the day was fabulous. The tour was very flexible. We started later at 9am, stopped at a great tea and coffee tasting spot (Hidden Garden) including trying luwak coffee and setting a luwak. we did the hike down to Sekumpal and Fiji waterfalls which were stunning. I recommend bringing water shoes as there are some small stream crossings. We didn't have time for Banyumala waterfall but visited the rice terrace which was picturesque. We didn't stay too long as it started to rain but you could spend a couple of hours walking around and enjoying the views here. Next time I would start earlier in the day to got more in. Thank you so much for this unforgettable day!

My partner and I had a wonderful time on the tour! Tyson, our guide, was very accommodating and knowledgeable about the area, culture, and sites. He went out of his way to ensure we were comfortable, especially when it unexpectedly started to rain. Tyson truly made the experience unforgettable and special!

Our guide kadek was really nice. he showed us the normal side of Bali not only the tourist side. he even showed us something from his own life in Bali. he is to recommend! thank you for the great day kadek

This day was an amazing day, started off with seeing the three beautiful waterfalls and continuing to the next water fall, followed by a lovely walk through the rice fields. As well as a big thanks for susanta being the best driver, even offering to stop at the chocolate factory on the way home as there was extra time, would recommend!!

The waterfalls were amazing! Agus was great! He made sure we had everything we needed and was attentive even with the rain and traffic. Make sure to take a lot of extra cash because to actually see the waterfalls you’re going to be paying double.

I had an amazing day exploring Bali with Kadek as my guide! Kadek was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and patient throughout the trip. The waterfall tour was absolutely beautiful! Our guide was so kind, funny, and really knew a lot about the area. Everything was perfectly organized, and we had such a great time. Highly recommended!

This location is beautiful. The tour guide was very patient with us who needed break up the stairs 🙂 He also made sure everyone was safe. Maybe it should be more outstanding that we need shoes for the water.

Our driver Didik was great - he kept us entertained the whole way and told us a lot about Balinese culture, life and religion. And the waterfalls and temples were amazing!

I had the best day! My driver was perfectly on time and the whole day felt more like a roadtrip with friends than a tour. We listened to music, I got a lot of insights about Bali and local culture. Especially the waterfalls were impressive and everything was very well organized. Would definitely recommend!

Transportation was good! the driver Alit was fantastic and very kind and knowledgeable. great planning and spotless timing.

In Sekumpul, the guide, Surya, was especially kind and understanding throughout the trip with my knee injury. He allowed me to enjoy the trip and take the time I needed. Of all the days we had, he was the one who allowed us to enjoy nature and our time there the most. He never rushed us, saying, "See the place, take a photo, and let's go," as it happend with others. His humanity and empathy were very special to us. We enjoyed the incredible views of northern Bali's nature. However, the drivers English is quiet bad. Communication was quite poor, creating misunderstandings, having to change destinations due to misunderstandings. He was also clearly afraid of driving, causing extra time on transfers. When he talked with us, he started walking away, leaving us behind and looking the other way making it difficult to hear him. We thought he was just the driver, so when he told us he was also the guide, we were surprised, since a guide should be, above all, a good communication.
